Belma Tvico takes a long-term view when it comes to life and fashion. She does not design only for today, but for the future to come. We are sunk in inky darkness, an abstract vacuum of black, highlighted by a glimpse of lavender haze accents throughout the design of the Twilight silk scarf. It comes as a crescendo to the overall sunset theme for the SS 2023, designed sumptuously in a highly cultivated tempo. Twilight exudes duality, like its predecessors. Both dark and light, it serves as a certain yin and yang in the form of fashion. It is designed to awaken emotional softness, an undeniable nostalgia for the light, and the importance of nurturing an inner fantasy life that makes us dream of an eternal summer of the soul. Twilight questions the nature of life more than any other design this season, as it deals with darker undertones alongside the light ones. As if authenticity was her mot d’ordre this season, Belma Tvico reinvents summer romance with a dusky twist.
