The luxurious, crimson based pareo is designed with a pattern of densely printed abstract vertical lines made up of violet, mauve, mulberry and pink. Creating the effect of brush strokes, the pattern is a real artwork transferred onto the delicate cotton/silk fabric. Innovative Bosančica letters that make up the fragments of the Charter of Kulin ban, the earliest document dating from the 12th century that confirms the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina, dominate the pattern and are incorporated into pattern in the shade of mauve black. The colour palette is vibrant− from base crimson to rich pink.
